I am a doctoral researcher with a keen focus on the semantic nature of variables, particularly in the context of Quinean philosophy. My work delves into intriguing puzzles related to variables, such as Kit Fine's antinomy of the variable. Additionally, I explore the boundaries of reinterpreting first-order logic as a modal logic, with a particular emphasis on modal interpretations of first-order variables.
Beyond my core research, I am interested in the philosophy of science, spanning mathematics, physics, and biology. Probability theory, a fundamental language in the natural sciences, is of particular interest to me. I also ponder how theories involving arbitrary objects or variable-like entities can shed light on the foundations of the natural sciences. Finally, the enduring complexity of the mind-body problem in the philosophy of mind is of importance to me.
